Not to be outdone by People’s annual ode to chiseled abs, The Onion nominated North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un this year’s “Sexiest Man Alive.” Unfortunately, not everyone was in on the spoof, namely China’s largest Communist Party newspaper, The People’s Daily, which not only took the bait but splashed a 55-page slideshow dedicated to the boyish leader across its homepage.

The People’s Daily quotes The Onion, saying:

With his devastatingly handsome, round face, his boyish charm, and his strong, sturdy frame, this Pyongyang-bred heartthrob is every woman’s dream come true. Blessed with an air of power that masks an unmistakable cute, cuddly side, Kim made this newspaper’s editorial board swoon with his impeccable fashion sense, chic short hairstyle, and, of course, that famous smile.

This Is All Kinds Of Wrong of the Day: First: Anonymous 4Chan trolls posted a fake screenshot of a tweet by verified “Entertainment Tonight” that “confirmed” Justin Bieber had leukemia. Tweets from Kanye, Nicki Minaj, and Chris Brown seemed to support the news.

Then: Beliebers began posting pics and vids of themselves with their heads shaved in a global show of support hashtagged #BaldForBieber.

Miraculously: The rumors were false and the Biebs is just fine, and now a bunch of tweens supposedly have no hair.

Do you ever notice that when the church gets insulted (by Mideo, Celdran etc ) all hell is raised in the name of morality , but when a person from the church does something truly terrible like rape a child, the world is relatively quiet?

People get mad & righteous over couples taking crass pictures in graveyards but hardly care about raping priests.

I’ve been following this group who call themselves as Filipino Freethinkers like a year ago, they claim that they are a paragon of reason, science and secular principles and at the onset I was really hopeful that they might deliver.

But after reading blog entries after blog entries that curiously praise each other ‘depth’, lurking at their inane comment threads that would make Bertrand blush, and after following the Damaso-Manila Cathedral skirmishes I am fully convinced that they are suffering from a severe case of intellectual inbreeding and caprice.

I’m on their mailing list at FB so I’ve received a general message from one ~~hot~~ moderator of FF for their plans on the upcoming LGBT march at QC. Yes, you’ve read it right, I subscribe to their mailing group. You see I hang out at FF because I’m checking out their hot atheists with their hipster glasses and who fancy themselves as intellectuals *snickers*.

Don’t judge me.

Anywho they are planning a counter-protest to any Christian who happen to protest against the LGBT at their events, passing leaflets of their advocacy, ‘excommunicating’ people, videoing people, dressing up as furries, and trolling Christian protesters by taking pictures with them for the lulz. Those plans are fine by me, but at the moment I thought they had somewhat redeemed themselves I’ve read this particular part and pretty much re-confirmed my impression on the group:

EXCOM HANDLERS (minimum of 2 people)
Will be stationed at the Excommobile to collect signatures for the Manifesto in Support of Choice, preferably with 1 “ritual” person (e.g. someone clad in a Pope costume, blessing people with a dildo) and at least 1 paper person, who will be handling the actual document.

Wait, seriously? That is how they promote reason, science and secularism by waggling at people a dildo?

And they actually wonder why pro-lifers wished they were aborted.

So yeah, where were we? Oh yeah, so ladies and gentlemen here I present Exhibit A, where the Filipino Freethinkers are nothing but trolls.
